Lineage | The book has been scanned and the images have been georeferenced using QGIS tool. Each map show a 10km grid and the projection is UTM21S (reference of the grid number is also showed on the images). Presence of breeding birds is identified by dots of various sizes. The small dot indicates that the species was present but no evidence of breeding; the medium dot means that the specie is probably breeding and the large dot describes that the breeding was confirmed. It is important to know that absence of record does not mean that the species does not occur in that specific gird location, but it means that the species has not been found during the survey and in the time spent surveying. |
