| Lineage | The raw monthly composites were downloaded freely from OceanColour at http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cms/ as Level 3 mapped data. Monthly maps were classified as winter (Jun-Jul-Aug), spring (Sep-Oct-Nov), summer (Dec-Jan-Feb) and autumn (Mar-Apr-Jun). Average values for each pixel were calculated for season across the 11 years of data. Interpolation using IDW filled in the no data pixel (where there was no data available across all years). |
