| Lineage | This dataset comprises locality data for 143 specimens representing ~7 nearshore fish species that were collected by Elyse Parker (Yale University, Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History), Paul Brickle (SAERI), and members/collaborators of SAERI from multiple localities from the Falkland Islands in February and March 2020. Individual specimens were collected via seine nets, hand nets, dip nets, and minnow traps. Muscle tissue samples or fin clips were taken from collected specimens and preserved in RNAlater. Associated voucher specimens were initially preserved in 10% formalin, and then transfered to 70% ethanol for long-term preservation at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History. Museum numbers for collected specimens are provided in this dataset. |
