| Lineage | Seaweed specimens were collected during intertidal surveys at 40 sites throughout the Falklands. The total DNA was extracted from the specimens using modified CTAB method or extraction kits (Qiagen BioSprint 96 Plant Kit and DNeasy Plant Mini Kit). Sanger sequencing of amplified markers was also carried out and followed by quality checks and editing. The DNA codes have been logged to GenBank and can be retrieved using the file code provided in the excel file. |
