Groundtruthing points for the Falkland Islands broad scale habitat map

The dataset is a csv file wich includes points used for validating the broad-scale habitat map for the Falkland Islands in Google Earth Engine. Each point describe a class of vegetation. The dataset was originated by pulling together data from a variety of sources.

Lineage The dataset was created for validating the Falkland Islands broad-scale habitat map is an amalgamation of data from a variety of sources, including ground validation data collected for the Natural Capital project by iLaria Marengo, ground validation data collected by Neil Golding as part of the DPLUS065 Coastal Habitat Mapping project, subtidal data provided by Shallow Marine Surveys Group for various dive surveys, and manual point digitisation.
