Intertidal quadrat photos of seaweeds in the Falkland Islands 2018-2019

The dataset is an archive of quadrat photos on intertidal seaweeds taken at 17 intertidal sites (each site represented by single point coordinates) between Jan-Feb 2018 and Jan 2019. The photo collection is one of the outcomes of the Darwin Initiative project DPLUS068 Falklands marine forests led by Juliet Brodie and Rob Mrowicki.

Lineage Digital photography of 0.25 square metre (0.5 x 0.5 m) quadrats along 1 to 3 transects (with 8 to 17 quadrats per transect) extending from the high water mark to the water's edge, at/or around low tide, at each shore (FK-NHM-574). The quadrat photos are part of the island-based Marine Recorder database and have been referenced with a DPLUS068 code.
