| Lineage | A total of 50 survey points were set up for being starting and ending points of survey lines run perpendicular and in parallel to the two pipelines. The points are at a distance of 50 metres to each other as the swath of the side scan sonar had been set at 100 metres (hence we had 50 metres overlap between two survey lines). Not all the survey points resulted valuable for the survey as a large kelp bed made impossible the survey in proximity of the land. The excel file with all the data entry, which comes with the shape file of the survey points, provides indication of the survey points used. |
