Microplastics in environmental samples from West Falklands, collected March/April 2019

Environmental samples (seawater, bivalves and goose scats) were collected from sites at the West Falklands for microplastic extraction, identification and analysis. Data would consist of microplastic counts from each sample type following processing and optical sorting. Microplastics are categorised by type (fragment/fibre/film), size, colour and material, the latter derived from polymer analysis using the FT-IR method. Data currently consists of just location data from sampling sites.
