Processed Side scan sonar data on Cochon, Kidney and Tussac Islands 2018

The dataset comprises of two raster files depicting a mosaic of side scan sonar imagery (FK-SAERI-626) collected around Cochon, Kidney and the Tussac islands in late 2018 in the context of the DPUS065 Coastal Habitat Mapping project. The mosaic for the Tussac islands stretches for a little bit more than 3 km and 230 metre width on the southern side of the islands. Whereas, the mosaic for Cochon and Kidney covers an area all around the islands. Log sheets are provided with the data.

Lineage	The dataset is a mosaic of side scan sonar processed images using Triton processsing suite software. The .logdoc files (FK-SAERI-626) were exported to .XTF files and then processed with the Triton software. The brighter the colour in the mosaic the higher the intensity of the response from the seabed to the sonar (harder substratum).
