| Lineage | The table is extracted from the database which supports the local marine sighting schema. General public and fishermen are asked to report any sighting by logging idata on a predefined form either through the EMD website, or by phone, or log books given to people. The data gathered in the database consist of: date, time, species name, approximate and estimated number, number of juveniles, geolocation and zone, GPS location, name of the reporter, general comments and pictures. The zones correspond the 'marine sightings zones' dataset. Latest extract form the database whould be available. |
